An amalgam of canvas, wood, found rusted objects, heavy paint applications, wood pulp and pastes. The human subjects describe their evolving circumstances, the lives they lived and felt. Personal introspection, our journeys, scars, sensitivities, trials and triumphs as a diaspora. It is all a work that describes who I am as a mixed race man, our formation, while being accepted into our imperfections. The question of “Where are we heading?” is explored and allows me to describe process, materiality, as well as the depth of emotion we feel.
